Midnight City (The Knocks Cover)
The Knocks have teamed up with Mandy Lee to do a cover on M83’s ‘Midnight City’. It’s already getting a lot of love from a lot of blogs, and we’re jumping the bandwagon. Good cover, deserves a lot of attention.
Mixed Messages
One more track by Bastian then. This one’s titled ‘Mixed Messages’ and it’s a bit more up-tempo from most of their work. The band’s front-man Bas Bron can also be found on Soundcloud under his moniker Seymour Bits. There’s a really smooth free track up there titled ‘When Seymour Sleeps‘. This track below is titled ‘Mixed Messages’, from Bastian’s ‘There’s No Such Place‘ album.
Diggin’ Ray Charles
Seems like we’re posting mashups every day now. Today it’s MashMike‘s turn. What’s in a name, right. The German mashuppeteer blends Kanye West’s ‘Gold Digger’ and Chiddy Bang’s ‘Ray Charles’ instrumental. Nice fit, too bad for the poor audio quality at some points.
