UK duo Silk Cinema is sharing their excellent fourth single to date, titled ‘Magic’.
In the past few months the duo – singer/songwriter Kristy Marie Buglass and producer Raphael Aletti – has been responsible for multiple very interesting releases. On August 25th the duo uploaded their first track ‘Say You’ll Love Me’, followed later by ‘Hope’ and ‘Disappear’. The singles earned the duo support from sites such as buffaBLOG, EarToTheGround, Acid Stag, I Heart Moosiq, Discobelle and many, many more.
Silk Cinema is a collaboration of two experienced musicians. Kristy Marie Buglass is also vocalist and keys player for London pop formation PARADISIA. The group has been releasing songs such as ‘Warpaint‘ and ‘Dancing In The Dark‘, and has been playing different locations in Europe this past year. Raphael Aletti is half of brother producer duo Count De Money (Aletti Brothers Music), and has worked with Ultra Naté, Kaskade, Peaches and Jodie Abacus. The duo defines the sound of Silk Cinema as ‘Sade in space’ – “…With a little Cocteau Twins and Prince thrown in on this one.
