18-year-old talent Lucq is presenting his first official single today, titled ‘Slow’. The Dutch producer is sharing through Dutch label Dirty Soul Music.
Lucq (Lucas Rijnsburger) has recently signed to the label, setting out to create a sound ‘driven by organic elements combined with electronic beats and heavy basses’. Other than this very smooth Jersey Club rework on Janet Jackson’s 1993 single ‘Anytime, Anyplace’, there’s not that much material to be found by Lucq yet. However the label does confirm that there are more releases lined up for the producer in 2018.
On his new EP ‘Slow’, the young Dutch talent works together with Nashville singer Jacob Steele. The US vocalist/producer has in turn most recently worked together with creative partner and wife Sita Steele on ‘Around Me‘ and commercial work for brands such as Häagen-Dazs, Amazon, Smart and BMW. In collaboration with Lucq, the vocalist sounds formidable on ‘Slow’, a project that sounds like a perfect blend between electronic beats and high quality acoustic performance. Enjoy below.
