Did all the listens, emptied the inbox, checked all updates from people we (try to) follow. Made the post. It’s the one below this one though.
Just after posting, Parisian newcomer Tchami comes up with two new tracks out on Fools Gold Records. Top shelf stuff. Fire in your panties stuff.
The first track is titled ‘Promesses’ and features vocal cuts by UK Singer Kaleem Taylor. Taylor effectively plays a big part in it, though it doesn’t turn into a song song. Verses, chorus, etc. None of that. (Which imho is something a lot of producers should take note of: Tracks ≠ Songs.)
Second one’s ‘Shot Caller’. Sounds a bit bigger. Same applies to the track above: exceptionally well produced house track. High frequencies are crisp, low frequencies nice annd round, and really comes together as a whole. So yeah, Tchami probably has been producing a long time before there even was Tchami. All we know as of yet is that he’s buds with Alesia and Dj Snake. And that he likes pictures of animals in coitus.
