St. Lucia, Pacific Air, Mesita, Disclosure, Northie, Bjork, Kensaye

Originally thought it would be the other way around. But Pacific Air remixes St. Lucia’s track, ‘All Eyes On You’. Turns out to be a pleasant little anthem. Has some restraint in it, which is a good thing.

This had to happen sooner or later. Only question was if it was going to be either amazing or completely awful. Trapped out version of Disclosure’s ‘Latch’. Not saying I lost my jaw somewhere on the floor, but this is quite nice. Trap won’t let go of you. Is that a dog?

Mesita announces an album for 2013, titled ‘Future Proof’. The second track, after X and Y, that’s out before the album is ‘Hostages’. Just like it’s predecessor, an impressive and completely unpredictable work of art.

Just when I’m about to publish this post, Kensaye uploads this remix to Soundcloud. Just in time. His latest is a remix on Bjork. ‘Moon’. Variates between dreamy and snappy. In a good way.

Honorable Mentions. Lucas Türschmann edits ‘Brotherman‘ by Detroit Swindle. That classic ‘Gypsy Woman’ by Crystal Waters gets a superdeep remix by ReeceA. More weird weird circus techhouse from Berlin based Tinush, new track is named ‘Würfelspiel‘. Ending this one with a constant flow of awesomeness that’s dripping from the Forward Thinking Sounds label. Hear ‘Emerald City‘ by Asteroids and Earthquakes.
