Skream, The Aston Shuffle, Flume, James Yuill

Vocalists, over here. Skream is looking for someone to put his or her voice on a new track, under the working title ‘Smiler’. Has some dubstep elements, subtle bassline, a very nice piano. And somehow near the end of the sample there’s this Gloria Estefan-ish Miami vibe. Do The conga. Overall, very nice instrumental. Can’t wait to hear what people do with it.

Flume remixes The Aston Shuffle’s ‘Won’t Get Lost’. TAS is sharing it on Soundcloud, quite nice. A bit rough around the edges, but definitely has that Flume sound.

Always have a hard time liking James Yuill tracks on the first listen. While it’s usually good music, it needs some ‘getting into’. Same thing with ‘Lost In California’. Definitely big, especially after the drop. Just takes a few listens. More important, it heralds a yet-untitled album that will be out in 2013. Follow Yuill for updates.

HM. Techno track with an interresting rhythm out on Kommunikation: ‘LetKolben – Papuans‘. Amtrac drops a good remix on Para One’s ‘When The Night‘. SimGretina drops two parts of the same track titled ‘The Trix of Lyra & Bon Bon’, Part I and II. Seems to be all about My Little Pony. Not sure if hallucinating. But yeah. And for the ones who made it to the end of this post: RĂ©mi Caumont has a very very decent remix up on Empire Of The Sun’s ‘We Are The People‘.
