Our favorite drama queen when it comes to producing. Monsieur Adi just put up the instrumental of the ‘High For This’ remix. Without the Ellie Goulding vocals, all that remains is a very well balanced instrumental track with dramatic string sections, choir pads and electronic parts that sound like they were tailor made for a TRON movie soundtrack. All thumbs up.
New Sound Remedy remix sounds like Sound Remedy. It’s a rework on Carousel’s ‘Let’s Go Home’. Big synthlines, giant snaredrum, lots of distortion in the end. Not much dynamics, but a lot of grind.
Polish remixer JacM sent in a future garage-ish remix on Lykke Li’s ‘I Follow Rivers’. Pretty haunting, he does the pitch-it-like-a-man thing. Still interesting after all the other remixes we’ve heard.
