Marcel Woods, Des McMahon, Audiobot, Cratesz, Shift K3y, Misun, Anton, Denis Rublev, Martin Solveig, Flower Power, The Hood Internet, Frank Ocean, Purity Ring

Lots of good stuff’s been emerging in the past five days. Guess it’s not a bad idea to split this post up in genres. Will do the Bass and trappy stuff first, starting with an old trance record by Marcel Woods. ‘Advanced’ gets a remix by Washington/Philadelphia producer Des McMahon. Definitely a big room bootleg.

Audiobot and Cratesz get together for a remix on Audiobot’s own ‘Manila’. Sounds like rubber bands on a trappy framework, also goes all trancey in the main breakdown.

And Annie Mac presents someone we’ve had the pleasure of following for a while now. Shift K3Y’s new track ‘What We Had’ is this week’s free monday giveaway. Bridges the gap between the usual trap stuff and UKG.

Some actual songs in here as well. Nacey presents ‘Battlefields’, a track by Washington DC band Misun. As mentioned before, Nacey is the producer behind the band’s most recent tracks.

HM. Local Native up a new free track titled ‘You & I‘.

Disco department. Found this in a recent Magician tape while working on some stuff with Steve. Decided to look it up, turns out to be both a free bootleg and also available in the online shops. Martin Solveig’s ‘Rockin’ Music’ over Flower Power’s ‘Flower Power’. Dj’s Denis Rublev & Anton are responsible for both mixdown and the free download link on Soundcloud.

HM. Matt Mendex & Riggs present ‘Voyeur‘, mid/slow synth infused disco track. Which can also be said for the new Noah Hyde remix on MAU’s ‘Cheetah‘, which is even slower. On the other end there’s the Wilbur & SC remix on Age Of consent’s ‘Heartbreaker‘, with a slightly higher BPM. Final disco track: ‘Sparkles‘, from Indiana producer Blue Satelite.

The House stuff is just HM. ¥oin is sharing this track ‘Wrap It Up‘, one for the afterhours. Perfect as an interlude/intro in mixsets. Kelle does a quick edit on that new Bonobo track, ‘Cirrus‘. And Mixmag presents a fresh Ian Pooley track with a very smooth bassline, titled ‘I Got you‘.

One slightly more Electronic track. New Hood internet bootleg rides nicely. Mashup of Purity Ring’s ‘Belly Speak’ and Frank Ocean’s ‘Pyramids’.

And for the remixers: Work Drugs is sharing the stems to their ‘Cursive Grounds‘ for a remix contest. Also, BT is sharing Jan Johnston’s acapella from their track ‘Remember‘. Get your paws on that, send in your remixes. :)
