Lady Gaga, Q-Tip, Fingerman, Enigma Dubz

Stuck On Fuckin’ You
The day finally came. Christmas day 2011, we’re posting Lady Gaga music. She posted this little track titled ‘Stuck On Fuckin You’ on Twitter today as a Christmas present for her seven nation army of gaga followers. The track is really raw and unpolished, as opposed to your average over-produced Gaga pop production. It features only a few instruments, Gaga not hitting a perfect Singstar score, and some rediculous reverb/delay effects. She writes on Twitter: “We were all wasted on the bus making records. It is such a timecapsule of the spirit of our creativity“. Great track because it is not a great track at all. It’s no super-crowd-pleasing-pop-song. Just a fun little tune to share with the rest of world. Nice.

Gettin Up (Fingerman Re-Bump)
In 2008 Q-Tip released ‘Gettin’ Up’ on Universal Motown. A perfect example of a quality self-produced Q-tip release. A few hours ago, British producer Fingerman uploaded a nice long re-edit of the original track on Soundcloud. Christmas Freebie.

Keep It On The Low
Enigma Dubz sampled Mario Winans ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’. The track became a short pop sensation in 2004. Partly because the used sample was already widely know, thanks to the Fugees ‘Ready Or Not’ which dates back from 1996. Not that The Fugees composed the sample. That happened way back in 1987, when Irish music group Enya released their track ‘Boadicea’. According to our super scientific calculations, the next remix sampling this track should be popping up somewhere around 2020. For now, we really like the Enigma Dubz take though.
