Nice rework on Lana Del Rey’s ‘Video Games’ by a group of dj’s who go under the name of ‘Club Clique’. Club Clique is actually a party hosted every friday night in the north quarter of Manchester UK, in a place called ‘Mint Lounge’. So really kind of a mystery who’s really behind this rework..

LA Lights (SmarterChild Remix)
Yesterday NYC producer Smarterchild introduced me to his dubstep (sort of..) remix on Kopps ‘LA Lights’. And altough I’ve posted a lot of dubstep this week, this one definitely stands out from the rest. There’s also a nice video that comes with the remix (as shown above). It features Smarterchild + friends going around new york at night during fashion week. The video was made by Colin Kelly, who also enjoys shooting ducks at Central Park.
Tiny tip for remixers: About a year ago (I think even longer..) Little Boots hosted a remix competition on her track ‘Earthquake’. Obviously the winners have already been announced and most people have probably forgotten about it. As it turns out, the remix parts are still online for anyone who fancies building a little remix around the track. Parts can still be found here.
