The best thing out today has to be this Oliver Nelson remix. He’s one of many to take on JT’s ‘Suit & Tie’. Thankfully makes use of the entire acapella, without much cuts. Even the Jay-Z part. All works, thanks to Nelson’s awesome instrumental work underneath.
Equally impressive is the Pacific Heights remix on ‘Shadow Boxer’ by New Zealand band Shapeshifter. It’s a track from their 5th studio album, titled ‘Delta’. The whole album is streamable on Soundcloud, and you should. The Pacific Heights remix is more of a synth anthem. Butter for ears.
