Today’s fave. An Oslo based remixer named Jerry Folk remixes Lupe Fiasco’s ‘Daydreamin’‘.. Which sampled I Monster’s ‘Daydream In Blue‘. Which sampled ‘Daydream‘ by Gunter Kallman Choir. Who covered the original by the Wallace Collection. Also, the vocals used in the most recent remix come from none of the above, as Lupe Fiasco featured Jill Scott for new vocals on his version.
This came from Sarah Jaffe’s 2010 debut album ‘Suburban Nature’. Bristol producer SKENG lends a few passages from the original to create ‘Cold Sweats’. Sounds like a Massive Attack mantra.
