Jean Tonique, Daft Punk, Schoolboy, Monarchy, Glass Candy, VIVIEN, Fritjof & Pikanen, Özgür Can, Congorock and Rule Of Eight

My Baby
There’s a new free compilation album out on French label Shiny Disco Club. It is called ‘Millenium Disco Vol. 2’ it features artists such as Go Go Bizkitt, Sweaters, She Said Disco and Jean Tonique. Go here if you want to check out the full compilation. Possibly the best track on the entire compilation: ‘My Baby’ by Jean Tonique.

Da Funk (Schoolboy Remix)
This track has already had the attention of most of the dubstepheads on Hype Machine, as it was featured on the Popular chart last weekend. Yet, Schoolboy’s remix on Daft Punk ‘Da Funk’ only generated a little over 200 plays on his own Soundcloud page. That’s not right. Go follow him!

You Don’t Want To Dance With Getto Boys
Don’t be fooled by the track name, this track is not really a remix. It’s the vocals of Monarchy’s ‘You Don’t Want To Dance With Me’ over instrumental samples of Glass Candy’s ‘Getto Boys’. Brilliantly mashed together by Vivien.

Jag Har En Växt (Özgür Can Remix)
Swedish Deephouse dj/producer Özgür Can is definitely getting to be more generous. In the past month he’s been sharing six nex tracks. One of which is his edit/remix on ‘Jag Har En Växt’ by a Swedish duo called Fritjof & Pikanen. Fantastic basslines! (Edit: re-up download link here!)

Sirius (Rule Of Eight Remix)
This is the new Rule Of Eight remix on Congorock’s ‘Sirius’. Imho, it’s even better than the original. RoE uses more of the synths that originally come from the track’s breaks, creating a track that sounds much more complete.
