Ellie Goulding, Daft Punk, E-Dubble, Skrillex, Whomprat & a little Calvin Harris bonus.

Waay late with posting this mashup, but came across it on Soundcloud and still like to post it.
Five months ago The Knocks published their mashup of Ellie Goulding’s ‘Under The Sheets’ and Daft Punk’s ‘Something About Us’. It already went to the top of Hype Machine chart and got thousands of plays already so you might already know it.

E-Dubble putting out another free track this weekend.
Track is called ‘Be Okay’ and features samples from Foster The People’s ‘Houdini’. It also sounds like Peter Muth provided vocals for the track. All very nice track but there’s just one essential thing missing. Where’s the spoken outro? If it’s a real E-Dubble track it needs E-Dubble talking about baseball in the last few seconds.

Alright this is a pretty nice drumstep remix on Skrillex’ ‘Equinox’ by Whomprat.
I’ve had my doubts about it tough. It sounds like a pitched up version of the original, but once you get past the break, Whomprat did some really nice editting with the beat/bass samples. On second thought, I’d rather call this an edit instead of a remix.

This is a bit more for you remixers out there. Acapella #2 by Calvin Harris.
About half a year ago Calvin Harris started sharing the acapella from ‘Flashback’ for free on Soundcloud. Since then I’ve seen hundreds of remixes on it. As it appears Harris liked the response from it and now the second acapella is up for grabs. It’s the vocal stem from ‘You Used To Hold Me’.
