Disclosure, Artful Dodger, Aaliyah, Salute, The Kickdrums, Dee Goodz, B-Sensual, Gotye

This will not be up for long, be fast. Disclosure shares their remix on an Artful Dodger ft. Lifford Shillingford oldie, ‘Please Don’t Turn Me On’. Video for reference. Has that signature bassline, synths you might recognize from other Disclosure tracks. British duo still cannot disappoint.

The second part of this year has been quite the revival for RnB music. Leading lady in a wave of new remixes on old material is definitely Aaliyah. So again, ‘Rock The Boat’ remix. This time credit goes to Salute. Austrian, Vienna based producer. Bass, that tiny snare from the 808 kit, big detuned synthpad. Could just make a mixtape out of Aaliyah remixes alone. Like Salute on Facebook to get the rrremix.

Brooklyn duo The Kickdrums line up with Nashville Rapper/producer Dee Goodz for ‘Higher’. As you might expect, song about smoking. Combination of the three gentlemen works really well, all stay true to their own sound. More of this please.

Not exactly sure how this track came to be. Might be a remix, might be a mashup. It’s published by Budapast based Bárány Attila, also goes by the name of B-sensual. Just might be the ten-gabillionth remix on Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ and I’m not eager to post more of those. But I might have mentioned before, yours truly is a sucker for piano samples. And this one does quite well.

Giant HM. I don’t see how this is a Christmas song, but it’s in the description. French producer Paul for you releases a straight-forward track titled ‘Born To Love‘. Has that obvious eighties synth pop feel. Which is cool. Could remotely relate this to Christmas if you google Wham’s ‘Last Christmas’ music video, turn down the vid’s sound volume and play this instead. Also, proper deep track out on Origami sound, titled ‘It’s true’, remix by Liar. And yes, that is the actual remixer’s name. Recently found out about this French producer KenLo Craqnuques. Future Beats, his latest track is called ‘Jeudi‘. Pretty fast paced UKG track out on BackTheTooFuture, ‘The Distance’ by Thieves. Oh, and that other guy that worked with Artful Dodger. Craig david’s ‘Fill Me In‘ gets a nice remix by Sango today. To conclude this post, peaceful disco production by Heartpete, which is a remix on Goldfrapp’s ‘Hairy Trees‘.
