Everything Is In It’s Right Place (Applecal Edit)
Amsterdam Dj Applescal likes to play deep music. Personally I think he’s one of Amsterdam’s finest. Yesterday he released his take on ‘Everything In It’s Right Place’ by Radiohead. Many remixers have gone before him. (like Oakenfold and Josh Wink.) They all left those organ chords in it’s right place.

One in the Hand
Pretty easy concept: [Any random XX instrumental] + [Any random hiphop acapella] = Win. Dj Bahler did it with The XX’s ‘Intro’ and vocals by Soul Khan. Not used to getting mashups from Bahler with only two tracks in it. If i remember correctly it’s usually six or more. Nevertheless, this works too.

Reptile Theme (Bertie Dastard’s Jumpin’ Edit)
Speaking of which, this one’s definitely a track for the ‘easy mash’ category. Brittish Bertie Dastard took Skrillex’ ‘Reptile Theme’ and added vocal cuts from Busta Rhymes ‘Jump Jump’. I’m pretty sure any kid using Ableton can make this kind of mashups. Yet, I can also imagine why a Dj would play this instead of the original.
