New free track that’s just drenched in house music nostalgia. Cherelle and Alexander O’Neal’s ‘Saturday Love’ samples found their way into house classics by Junior Jack and Alex Metric. This new rework features the midas touch of NYC house legend David Morales (left).
Just a few examples: David Morales himself is widely known for early house classics such as I’ll Be Your Friend, Needin’ You, How Would You Feel and remixes for Jamiroquai, Aretha Franklin, Björk, Kelis, Mariah Carey, just to name a few. Morales has been shaping the genre since his first promo release in 1990. And 2016 shows the American stills going strong, playing shows in Ibiza, Berlin, Miami and even working out the occasional free bootleg for hungry dj’s. This ‘Saturday Love’ is definitely worth a mention for long time househeads.
