Holiday
Australian super music aggregator We Are Hunted are sharing a new track in their ‘Emerging’-chart. This week’s freebie comes from the Brooklyn-based band Body Language. The track is titled ‘Holiday’ and some of you might know it from RAC’s remix which was premiered on BBC radio. Get it here.

Lost In The Sun
New Grieves & Budo tracks are almost always guaranteed to be posted here. This time the Brooklyn/Seattle-based Rhymesayers feature a CA-based vocalist called K.Flay on a track called ‘Lost In The Sun’. They have been touring together in the past few weeks, and actually still are in the coming week. You can still catch them live if you live near Atlanta, Orlando, Jacksonville, Dallas and Austin.

Drop It Like Its Mine
Duncan Gerow usually puts together tight hip-hop mashups. Not today though. At least, not exactly. He took the instrumental from Brandy & Monica’s ‘The Boy Is Mine’, easily the most popular track that Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins ever produced. On top of it Gerow put the ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ vocals from Snoop Dogg, from what is probably Pharrell Williams’ most popular production to date. So tight, yes. Hip-hop, kind of. But most of all, just Pop music. Perfect tool if you’re a dj facing a tough crowd that doesn’t know the difference between say, Pharrell Williams and Bobby Farrell.
