Escapee (Frames Remix)
Architecture In Helsinki have been posting some remixes of their track ‘Escapee’ on Soundcloud today. The remixes are the result of a remix competition on ‘Escapee’. The competition winner have been posted on Soundcloud, they are Frames, Indian Summer Dj’s, Nostalgy and Malory. The biggest bestest awesomest remix according to Architecture In Helsinki is the Frames remix. And they’re probably right too. Frames is a remixer from Sydney, also spreading a lot of free music so you might want to check out his social pages.
You Can (Star Slinger Remix)
New Star Slinger remix got posted today! It’s his take on Body Language’s ‘You Can’. Now the original is already very solid, but there’s just that little bit more happening in the Star Slinger remix.
Demented
Could be making a mixtape with the free dubstep tunes that are being released this week. The Latest addition to the list is ‘Demented’ by Skream. Have to admit, there’s not much happening in the intro or the break. Nothing, actually. But if you wait for it, you’ll be rewarded with some quality dubstep after the breakdown. Useful ingredient for a bootleg I’d say!
Danger
This came in through some Twitter feeds today: Belgian Dubstep producer Eptic is also giving away a free track. It is titled ‘Danger’ and Eptic posted a Sendspace link on his Facebook page. He’s also a Soundcloud member. To be honest, it’s the First time I hear about him. Like I said before, I’m a slacker..
Spitfire (Save The Rave Edit)
Here’s a take on Porter Robinson’s new dubstep track ‘Spitfire’, released on Skrillex’ label OWSLA. Don’t really think it’s right to call it a full remix, but it’s definitely a nice edit. Spanish duo Save The Rave have rerubbed the beats, transforming the dubstep original into an electro anthem.
