Who Dat Girl (SmarterChild Remix)
A few days ago NYC’s Smarter Child put up a remix on Flo Rida’s ‘Who Dat Girl’. I first heard the original ‘Who That Girl’ on Youtube and facepalmed my way through the entire video. But the SmarterChild remix is a different story. It’s a flawless and solid production with some great synthwork. But it still has the same (kind of meaningless) vocals on top of it. Like someone put laxatives and birth control pills in a otherwise awesome Thanksgiving turkey. Will definitely write a post if SmarterChild decides to put up the instrumental remix though, good remix.
Get The Get (Mia Dora Remix)
Record label Ninja Tune just put up a nice remix on Roots Manuva’s ‘Get The Get’. Remixer is Uk-based Mia Dora. Great remix, altough this remix sounds like it could use a little mastering.
