Three new-ish tracks today by Grieves, Tim & Jean and a mashup of Wolfgang Gartner and Katy Perry. First up is Seattle-based producer/MC Grieves, who is coming up with a new album. It will be called ‘Together/Apart’ and it will be produced together with Budo, Grieves’ production partner. Yesterday the hosting label Rhymesayers offered the second single of the album for free download on Soundcloud: Bloody Poetry.

Not sure if you know this site yet but if you don’t, go check it out! It’s called We Are Hunted and it offers a great load of streamable new music. Every now and then they even host free downloads. Not a big fan of Katy Perry’s music, and I wassn’t sure what to think about this mashup. It features Perry’s ‘E.T.’ over a pitched up version of Wolfgang Gartner’s ‘Illmerica’. But I have to admit, both fit pretty well together. The mashup was made by a Boston dj called PRFFTT, which sounds like a choking sound but you should pronounce as profit.
