Oliver $ & Jimi Jules – Pushing On (Tchami Remix – Shutterz Edition)
After discovering Shutterz’ deep mid tempo remix of Destiny’s child’s ‘Soldier’ we found out he actually used to play out proper hardstyle before switching to this accessible main room EDM sound in his sets. So today has a new Shutterz edit and it’s none of the above. It’s an edit on the breakdown from Tchami’s remix on an original delivered by oliver $ & Jimi Jules: ‘Pushing On’. Great idea for an edit, fun to see Shutterz working on many genres, not breaking a sweat at all.

Jr. Hi ft. The Weeknd – Secrets (GXNXVS Remix)
If you haven’t heard the original Jr. Hi ft. Weeknd collaboration yet, might want to check that one out first. Something about the snare just has Phil Collins written all over it, don’t ask why. Nevermind, on to this GXNXVS remix. Guessing it’s producer from the Vancouver area, as that’s where the management is based. GXNXVS succeeds in making ‘Secrets’ even that much more intense, something to play out on nocturnal adventures.

Passion Pit – Sleepyhead (James Cover)
Went into this track thinking it was an actual cover, but it’s good to find out James just built a new song around the same vocals. Which means remix is probably a better word for it. He’s an LA based producer by the way. And there’s two other remixes as well as two originals waiting for you on James’ Soundcloud page. Honestly, nothing matches the full blown eighties feels this Passion Pit remix has though.
