Daft Punk’s seemingly indestructible popularity recently found it’s way into the Grammy’s and an L.A. pop-up museum. Rumours about a 2017 tour keep boiling up. Thump even went a few extra miles to rate every Daft Punk song, ever.
Not everything Daft Punk is truly in there though. Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter have done plenty of other projects that don’t have the Daft Punk label on it, while that distinguishable the sound is definitely there. The best example might be this collaboration between Thomas Bangalter and Alan Braxe. At this point it’s hard to imagine. Butt for those still not familiar with Stardust’s ‘Music Sounds Better’, here’s the original version:
UK producer wntr recently shared his twist on Stardust’s original ‘Music Sounds Better With You’. It’s pretty true to the original, yet mainly thanks to some added kicks and basslines the entire character of the track changes completely.
