Looking at the musical spectrum somewhere between deep house and some of the more tropical-flavoured productions, US Producer Speaker Of The House is probably one of the best names out there right now.
Last week SotH premiered a new track which the first one in over a year – or at least the first original year. Over the past months SotH has shared some good remixes on Dada Life, Fiona & Rebecca and The Chainsmokers. The track is titled ‘Redwood’, after the Redwood guitar you’re hearing in the track.
What’s pretty impressive is that there’s a lot – truly, it’s a huge amount – of producers working on some tropical sounding projects right now. However, the genre itself is not that new. Most productions sent to Jackplug lack either depth in production or musical finesse which mostly leads to turning down a lot of those tracks for the blog. Speaker Of The House doesn’t seem to suffer from any lack of production experience or musicality. Mature and refined production, quite good!
