Had to look up the original Pretty Sister track, which is a few months old now. Fantastic funk track that has gotten some good support already.
Firstly: it’s the vocals that do it. This song itself could work in many different settings, on top of many different instrumental productions. It’s just the way it is memorable, well sung and pretty rough-and-ready at the same time.
That being said, Le Boeuf and N2N’s remix definitely feels like an instrumental upgrade. Just has that little more energy that those vocals deserve.
