Initially picked this track up because it simply sounded really good, fun to find out there’s actually a UK-house background to some of it.
Midnight Mystery Club is a club of one: David Paul Newell. Not a new name, as it looks like the California based singer has had some very decent releases before. The singer/musician has been working with producers such as The Shapeshifters and Michael Gray (of Full Intention fame) in the past.
Right now, Newell has teamed up with Gray again to work out a series of new tracks under the Midnight Mystery Club moniker. ‘Run’ was the first track and a great promise of what’s still to come from Newell’s mystery club.
