In this case the first reason to listen to it is because of Mickey Valen. Over the past years the New York based producer has been the name behind some of the best indie/pop-songs out there, working with people such as Lucian, Noosa, Ayer, Evvy and more.
This time Valen works with a singer called Lara Maxen. Not much to know about the singer yet, which seems to be the case a lot with artists lately as there seems to be a preference for a certain anonymity, sharing a minimum amount of information on various social media platforms.
The thing that’s obvious though is that Maxen does stand out in the song. Mickey Valen sounds good once more, Maxen’s performance matches Valen’s quality perfectly.
