Childish Gambino already released ‘Sober’ in 2014, in late 2015 Miami Horror released their own version which might have been even slightly more legendary. A few weeks ago, Oliver Nelson did a rework as well.
Other than the Miami Horror cover, Oliver Nelson simply uses the vocals provided by Childish Gambino on a disco inspired instrumental track. It’s slightly more electronic and based on a pretty electric sounding four-on-the-floor type of beat compared to both the original and the Miami Horror cover. Also, the Swedish producer delivers the most energetic version we’ve heard to date.
