Late as in later-than-the-Grammy’s late to the party on this one: Kaytranada’s extended edit on Chance The Rappper’s ‘All Night’.
With being late and all, this might be completely off. But in the first months of the year it’s usual people start predicting what the year is going to sound like in terms of new music. For instance quite recently over at the mainstage, Hardwell even made some claims about trance coming back in a big way this year.
Might happen or not. But if anything, our 2017 money is on tracks like this one. 110-120BPMish, influences from hiphop, house and soul or even disco. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking, why not more like this entire mix below?
