Big post today with updates about people that have been on the blog before: More Bigboi vs. The Black Keys Mashups by Wick-It, new tracks by Switch Fusion, Barletta and Reich & Bleich, Mike Posner vs. Calvin Harris mashup and news about Midibyte and Dj Kypski.

The Brothers of Chico Dusty
A while back we featured a fantastic mashup by Wick-It The Instigator: The Black Keys vs. Big Boi’s ‘Black Bug’. Thousands of people liked it and the track was even noticed by Big Boi himself who posted about it on his website and social pages. (Great way to deal with bootleg mixes!) It gets even better, now that the Nashville dj decided to make an entire album of Black Keys vs. Big Boi mashups. Freefall
Another track that got some great feedback was Switch Fusion‘s remix of ‘Raise Your Weapon’ by Deadmau5. Yesterday Switch Fusion announced that he’s starting a new side-project and it will sound something like this:

Please Don’t Go Alone
We weren’t too familiar with MashMaticians before but they put up a quite pleasant mashup. It’s the Instrumental of ‘I’m Not Alone’ by Calvin Harris with vocals by Mike Posner from his track ‘Please Don’t Go’.

Cadillac FM
German duo Reich & Bleich uploaded a new quality tune today that goes by the name of ‘Cadillac FM’. Sounds a bit like Fred Falke or maybe even Prydz, but without paying the money for it.

I’ll Be There
Also, new track by Toronto’s dj Barletta. Heavy disco feel to this track which is titled ‘I’ll Be There’.

People Don’t Dance No More
Midibyte has made a few appearances on the blog in the last year. He has been remixing people such as Mike Snow, The Rapture and Funkerman. His ‘People Don’t Dance No More’, which features samples of The Rapture’s ‘Whoo! Alright – Yeah… Uh Huh.’ got over 20.000 plays on Soundcloud. On the 24th of December the Swedish producer will be sharing a new dj-friendly edit of this track with his followers. Here’s the preview, just wait untill Christmas eve to receive this little present.

Kyptape
And finally: On the first of January 2011, Dutch turntablist Dj Kypski will release a new mixtape. Or rather, Kyptape. Won’t be his first, as he released one in 2008 and 2009 already. There’s a small preview on his Soundcloud page and we found an existing link to download the awesome 2008 Kyptape.
