Oh no more Santa tunes.

Röyksopp is getting into some serious Christmas vibes, got a great re-edit on Jolie Chérie by Arnaud, and quality folk music by James McMorrow.

Le Cantique de Noël
Yep, Christmas tune. You should not be reading about these things around here and you would not be. But then Röyksopp made this track and gave it away for free. They almost could not have picked a bigger cliché to interpret. But they did it well and secretly we really really like it. Sort of.

Insomnie

We only know this guy as Arnaud from Input Selector. He’s a club owner/ blogger/ producer from Nantes, France and every once in a while he drops a very nice edit on Soundcloud. This time he picked up ‘Insomnie’, a track by Jolie Chérie. (The original track is featured on Kitsuné Maison Compilation 10.)

If I Had A Boat
Folk music is still not very common here. But here’s a record that really deserves some credit. It’s James Vincent McMorrow, an Irish singer/songwriter who’s debut record was released in February this year. He’s sharing this fantastic track called ‘If I Had A Boat’ with the world.
