One Starry Memory
Mashups are usually fun, great way to combine the work of several great artists. If done correctly. Once in a while we get a mashup that’s a bit more than just correct. It’s somewhat more unexpected and original. Here’s a nice example thanks to Mashup Germany. We’re sorry for recycling Forrest Gump, you guess what else they’ve stuffed in there..

If there were one favorite artist for the blog on Soundcloud, it could only be Röyksopp. They make fantastic music, great live shows and are one of the first artists to share free original music on a monthly basis. This month’s free download is called ‘I Wanna Know’.

White Knuckle Ride
Jamiroquai’s ‘White Knuckle Ride’ made it’s way into the mainstream and with reason. (Of course joined with a video that has Jamiroquai written all over it, flying a helicopter and speeding in his Porsche..) The track found a nice remixer in NYC’s Penguin Prison.
